Telly's is offering this page to our gardening community clubs or groups as a place to make themselves known and give information on their upcoming events in our area. Meadow Brook Hall Garden Club
Meadow Brook Hall Garden Club is dedicated to preserving, maintaining and enhancing the 16 gardens surrounding Meadow Brook Hall. The 110-room historic museum/house is located on the campus of Oakland University and was built in the 1920s by Matilda Dodge Wilson and her husband, Alfred Wilson. The gardens are maintained April through October by club members. Educational programs are offered in non-gardening months. New members are most welcome to this friendly group that also enjoys occasional social events.

Where: Oakland University, Coach House adjacent to Meadow Brook Hall "Spring into Roses, the Selection and Care of Roses" will be the topic presented by Susan Pioch, Telly's own 'Rose Lady'. Susan is that rare person whose love of roses is transmitted to all who seek her out. She will discuss how to plant and maintain the various types of roses, as well as the new varieties for 2008. Meadowbrook Hall Garden Club will also Present the American Rose Society film "Love at First Sight". A guided tour of Meadowbrook Hall's beautiful rose garden will follow. Guests are welcome. Coffee and refreshments served at 9:30 AM. There is a $5 non-member donation. Reservations are not required. Milford Garden Club
