Alpines are tiny plants that are well suited for survival at high altitudes. These small and graceful gems are beautifully grown in troughs. Participants will create their own hypertufa trough. There will be a second session available for participants to come back and actually plant their troughs on April 12th (See listing for that class). Troughs can be taken home to set (dry) or left at Telly's until ready. Please wear appropriate attire and bring rubber gloves. Class fee is $30.

Telly's owner, George, will share with you how we grow thousands of plants for you each season. Learn which plants grow from cuttings and how to successfully propagate them at home. He will even have a few for you to take home and try yourself.

In this hands-on class, each registrant will create a Bonsai plant to take home. Telly's own Bonsai instructor, Hector DeBrabant, will guide participants through the process of selecting, potting, and pruning. Long-term care will be discussed. Class fee is $35.
