In The Garden As we clean our gardens of winter debris and weeds this spring it's a good time to amend the soil and prepare our beds for their summer glory. Adding organic matter such as compost, composted manure and peat (Michigan or Organic peat for sandy soil, Canadian or sphagnum peat for clay soil.) will improve the health of your soil and the plants you grow this season.
