While you're in the greenhouse, take note of one of our great new plants for your home, or as a nice gift. The jewel-like pincushion plant, Nertera granadensis, covers itself with bead-like berries in brilliant orange or snow white that will last for more than three months. A fine textured New Zealand native, it prefers bright light, indirect light indoors, or part sun to shade outdoors (a tender perennial). Keep it moist, but not soggy, do not allow it to dry out. Fertilize once a month with a water-soluble plant food diluted to half the recommended strength. Can be grown outdoors once temperatures are above 55 degrees at night.

In the Greenhouse
A new growing season is getting underway. This is a great time to take a break and stroll through the greenhouse. Drink in the fragrance of flowers and new growth. Enjoy the burst of life as young new plants start their journey towards summer. Start thinking about and planning your pots and gardens for the new season. We have some great new things happening in the greenhouse this year. Telly's is celebrating it's 30th year with a Spring Open House on April 19th. Visit our events page to learn more. While Telly's has been going 'Green' for many years, selling organic fertilizers and products for your garden, this year we'll be offering organically grown herbs and vegetables as well. Plus, we're using earth friendly rice pots to grow them in. We'll be telling you more about this in April. We'll be bringing many great new plants this year, delightful accessories for your garden and products to help make working in your garden a true joy. Treat Yourself to Something Special We now have a gourmet Coffee and Tea counter to welcome you into the greenhouse. Treat yourself to one of these delightful drinks as you stroll through the greenhouse. We also now have an information station with computer. Take a minute and view what's coming in 2008. 
Plants For Your Home or Office We have some great accents for your home or office. Select fresh new houseplants from our great collection. There are foliage plants, ferns, hanging baskets, vines, cacti, and more. Lots of fun colors and textures to brighten your environment.
